Agricultural Project in Sittanunku, Northbank, The Gambia - January 2012

To help the village members of Sittanunku to set up a Football Academy Farm equipped with 2 professionally dug water boreholes, robust pumps and hoses - we also need to fence the whole area (50 x 200 metres) to stop animals from eating the crops. This project will allow Sittanunku village to grow crops all year round which will provide vegetables for the community and allow them to generate an income. 20 UK fundraisers will will travel to The Gambia in January 2012 and assist Sittanunku with this project; they will be required to camp onsite at Sittanunku for 2 nights! If you want to get involved please email: info@footballgambia.org
