Building a School in The Gambia - January 2013

Twenty people have now provisionally put their names down to go on our seven day Gambia trip, January 2013. The objectives of the trip are to set up a nursery/ infant school in Chessay, North Gambia, for local kids and orphans who are not currently getting an education.
Renovating an existing building for the school (painting, roof repairs, building shelves, brick laying etc)
Securing the school grounds
Sharing teaching techniques with the Gambian teachers
Running a football course for grassroots coaches and teachers
Running a sports leadership course for teachers
Camping for 4 nights, hotel for 3!
Agricultural Project in Sittanunku, Northbank, The Gambia - January 2012

To help the village members of Sittanunku to set up a Football Academy Farm equipped with 2 professionally dug water boreholes, robust pumps and hoses - we also need to fence the whole area (50 x 200 metres) to stop animals from eating the crops. This project will allow Sittanunku village to grow crops all year round which will provide vegetables for the community and allow them to generate an income. 20 UK fundraisers will will travel to The Gambia in January 2012 and assist Sittanunku with this project; they will be required to camp onsite at Sittanunku for 2 nights! Charity Football Match in the Gambia - January 2011

We have a total of 44 UK people travelling to The Gambia in January ‘11 to participate in a mixture of Community Work and Football Coaching. The team consists of Ernst & Young employees, Middlesex University staff & students and UK Qualified Football Coaches - including International Freestyle Footballer Billy Wingrove!!
Cycle the Length of Gambia - 2010

A team of 14 people from Ernst & Young cycled the length of Gambia by sharing a combined distance of 210 miles at separate times on treadmills.
Climbing Snowdon - 2009

Founder Ian and his Partner Christabel braved the cold and danger of climbing Mount Snowdon in Wales. They succesfully reached the summit.
